UFH Nursing Team Conference in Qingdao

The United Family Healthcare (UFH) Nursing Team conducted a conference on UFH nursing philosophy practice in Qingdao on October 19, 2014. In cooperation with the Qingdao Nursing Association, the event had 140 nurses from various local hospitals in Qingdao in attendance.

The team, headed by Shen Xiao Yan, Vice President of UFH Nursing, presented on the following topics:

• UFH nursing philosophy and nursing practice (Shen Xiaoyan, CNO – UFH)
• UFH midwifery care model (Meika Chin, Director of Women Healthcare – SHU)
• Communication and Customer Service (Chanell Concepcion, Manager of Nursing Education Dept – BJU, with translation done by Chen Li Xin, Chief Nursing Officer of QDU)
• UFH nurse career ladders (Cynthia Li, HR Director of UFH Nursing)

This is the first time that UFH has formally touched base with Qingdao’s public healthcare professionals, and provided an opportunity to present UFH to Qingdao nurses and foster further exchanges in the future.
