Chuanmin Yang

Dr. Yang graduated from Qingdao University Medical College in 1983. He later studied pediatric surgery in Tongji University School of Medicine under the guidance of professor She Yaxiong, one of the founders of pediatric surgery in China. He also did further study internationally in Rambam Medical Center in Israel.

Dr. Yang has diagnosed and treated thousands of outpatient pediatric patients and four to five hundred cases of various surgical operations. Dr. Yang has unique experience in dealing with complicated and critical cases and is skilled in multiple surgical techniques. He has conducted surgical demonstrations and technical guidance in many hospitals inside and outside Shandong Province, which has a considerable influence in the field of pediatric surgery in China.

Dr. Yang has been working in pediatric surgery for 35 years in the Affiliated Hospital of Qingdao University. He has been the department director for more than 20 years and is currently the chief medical expert and director of the Pediatric Surgery Center in Qingdao Women’s and Children’s Hospital.

Dr. Yang specializes in many types of pediatric surgeries including general, urology, orthopedic, chest, neonatal surgery, and pediatric neurosurgery among other pediatric congenital malformation prenatal consultations.
